Planet Ultra is your source for the finest century and longer events, multi-day cycling tours, and the epic Hoodoo 500 UltraMarathon Race

Our goal is to provide a fun, challenging and memorable cycling experience while fostering a healthy lifestyle and sense of camaraderie and community among motivated and adventurous bicyclists.

Planet Ultra began in 2001 with 6 double century events and a week-long hub tour in California. Over the next few years, we added a few events in California. Always looking for superior cycling experiences, we expanded our horizons into the beautiful state of Utah, with our unforgettable Tour of Southern Utah, and later the Hoodoo 500. In 2005 we created the King of the Mountains Century Challenge, which attracts riders from all over the country who come to tackle the three toughest Southern California Centuries. We're now also in Nevada, with our Gran Fondo Las Vegas, and the unique Tri States Gran Fondo which takes riders from Nevada, through Arizona and into Utah and back.

Your Planet Ultra hosts are Deborah & Brian Bowling, who recently moved their home base to Washington, Utah. Both avid cyclists, between them they've completed 60 double centuries and countless centuries. Brian completed Paris-Brest-Paris in 2003 and has twice successfully raced the Cascade Cream Puff, a 100-mile mountain bike race with over 18,000' of climbing. Whether riding singles, tandem or mountain bikes, Deb & Brian are passionate about cycling!
