Butterflood Revisited???
Well, it wasn't THAT bad... In fact, it was an absolutely beautiful day until late afternoon when the skies opened up and poured down rain on the 107 riders that started the 2011 Planet Ultra Camino Real Double Century. It was super cold, windy and wet all night - and only the most dedicated made it to the finish line in Irvine. So many no-showed and DNF'd that we're only posting finishers on the results.

To add some fun to an already great day, Camino Real was once again a "Poker Run." Riders drew a card (from a fresh deck with every card in the deck) at each of the checkpoints along the route, and another at the finish. The prize list consisted of the following:

The top high hand of the day was a Three of a Kind - so along with the weather, there wasn't much luck on the poker hands either.
