It was a super tough, super (and unseasonable) HOT day at the 2008 Mulholland Double Century. The wind was howling and the temperatures soared into the 100s as riders climbed brutally steep and endless hills including Potrero, Balcolm, Decker and Piuma. It was a long day in the saddle for many - and a huge accomplishment for ALL who completed one of the toughest doubles on the Planet!!!

Special kudos to Robert Choi, the front runner of the California Triple Crown Stage Race with an awesome time of 12:16; and to Zach Kaplan, the only rider to complete the Mulholland Double on a recumbent.
