Information

Please read the Planet Ultra Information page, including all ride rules, before signing up for an event.
Planet Ultra rules will be strictly enforced, including time limits.

Important! Please Read Everything!

• Early registration is generally available online via active.com; or, if you want to avoid active.com fees, by clicking the blue buttons below for our download-able, type-able, pay-by-check mail-in form.

• We ride rain or shine.

• All entrants are required to sign the Accident Waiver (on the entry form) before beginning the event. The waiver may not be modified in any manner.

• Entries are non-transferable.

• Entry fees are non-refundable. However, if you must withdraw from a single-day event (due to an emergency or other unforeseen circumstances) and you contact Planet Ultra via email at least a week prior to the event in which you are registered, we will credit you one half of your entry fee to an event of your choosing in the following 12 months. Exception: No rollover ride credits for Solvang's Finest Century which is a fundraiser for Challenged Athletes Foundation. Please note: Ride credits may not be used towards entry for Angeles Crest Century or Solvang's Finest Century. Click here for our multi-day Tour cancellation policy.

• Each event's entry fee goes up $20 two weeks prior to the event. That date is also the cut-off for postmarking an entry. Thereafter, you may make an email reservation by sending us an email telling us your name, address, telephone number, email address, birth date, and the event you want to enter. If multiple distances are offered, be sure to tell us which you plan to ride. Riders exercising this email reservation option must arrive at registration with their completed application and CASH ONLY in hand. Anyone who makes an email reservation and then fails to show loses the privilege of making such reservations. In addition, they will be denied entry to other Planet Ultra events until the no-show event registration fee is fully paid.

• Registration closes the Tuesday prior to the event at 5pm. No exceptions. Please don't call or email us begging to get in.

• There is no registration at the event. You will not be allowed to ride unless you have pre-registered - meaning your name is on the event roster on the website - or you have a confirmed email reservation.

• There will be no mailing via postal service of any info, results, or entry confirmation before or after the event, nor email confirmation of your entry before the event. This is an Internet-based organization, so you must have web access to confirm your presence on the event roster prior to the event and/or to view results and images after the event.

• Please read our Information Page by clicking here. Everything you need to know, including event rules, is on that page. Please note that the time limit for each event will be strictly enforced. No exceptions.

DISASTER POLICY: If an act of God/Terrorism/Community Disaster occurs, preventing the event from happening, what actions are taken?
1. The event will be cancelled and riders notified as quickly as possible.
2. Affected riders will have first right to sign up for that event next year.
3. Financial: Planet Ultra cannot accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each rider needs to accept the risk of losing his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to other future rides. Entry fees are spent in advance to prepare for the event.

• Planet Ultra reserves the right to cancel an event for any reason. If an event is cancelled for reasons other than a disaster/act of god/terrorism, Planet Ultra may refund entry fees, or provide a ride credit to each registered rider.

Planet Ultra and the Challenged Athletes Foundation

The official charity of all Planet Ultra events is the Challenged Athletes Foundation. One of the goals of our events is to raise awareness of, and funds for, this organization. Please donate to CAF when you sign up for a Planet Ultra event. Better yet, dedicate your cycling effort at the Planet Ultra event of your choice and become a fund-raiser on behalf of CAF. If you do, you can set up your own secure CAF webpage and you'll get a lot of promotional and organizational support from both CAF and Planet Ultra.

The Challenged Athletes Foundation was created on the belief that people of all abilities should have the opportunity to pursue a life full of physical activity and of sports. Be they recreational or in pursuit of a gold medal at the Paralympic Games, people with a physical disability are limited only by their access to funding. Click here to find out what you can do to help!

Please do NOT staple your check to the entry form!
